Olde Brick House Deli & Eatery in Amsterdam

My first time here, the young girls that greeted me were surprisingly friendly and helpful. What a treat, here in customer service, starved Missouri! It's a cute little joint, built in an old house, but unless there is a back entrance for wheelchairs and walkers, this place is NOT disabled friendly, which is a bummer. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and it was delicious, but very small for the price. The cookies the girls suggested were legit and even though I could probably get a bigger sandwich, somewhere else, I wouldn't be supporting a local, family business. There are lots of drink options and a nice dining room. Give a shot~

Wonderful food, extremely friendly service and the ambiance is very cozy with a lot of antique style things to look at. They are only open during daytime hours though.

Get the damn house dressing! Put it on everything!!! All of it is amazing! Nothing there is bad. I mean look at the parking lot... It's full. Every single day!!! Best local deli in town

Awesome place for a weekday lunch. Great sandwiches, salads, and soup of the day. Friendly staff and rapid food preparation with always fresh ingredients. Eat-in or Carry-out. I've never been disappointed by this place.

Good food. Quick service. Small portions and high prices. Zero handicap accessibility. Only handicap parking is at neighboring businesses.

Splurged on delicious New York Style Pastrami on GF bun and salad, topped off with delicious GF cheese cake. Yum!

All of the sandwiches we have had there and salad has always been great! It can be difficult for physically handicapped people to get in though. It is literally in an old brick house.

I ride along the Greenway often and always assumed this was an office or something. Luckily (luckily?) a truck from the quarry kicked up a bunch of rocky debris and I got a flat. That's when I saw this is a restaurant. I decided to trot across the street and try it. It is quaint and cozy, as can be expected. I had a very excellent sandwich suggested by the clerk and have enjoyed it since. It reminds me of a lot of small eateries I've seen in larger cities that accept that they are not the biggest and brightest, which makes them even better.

My first time here!! It was a great sandwich, nice and friendly staff too! I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

The french dip is delicious!

My $10 lunch: three pieces of salami, two slices of tomato, one small lettuce leaf, and a heap of chopped lettuce for a salad. Service was fast, but it couldn’t have taken much time to throw this together. Disappointing experience.

We came here for the first time today and I was absolutely blown away. Wonderful food, friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphere. I'm definitely coming back! We both ordered the French Dip. It was one of the best ones I've ever had.

Love the salads and house dressing! Way better than Panera or any other Cafe style deli restaurant. Only place I go in town for a sandwich.

The food came out quick, but it wasn't anything to write home about. I had the chicken salad sandwich, but it tasted more like tuna. I finished half my sandwich and reached to pick up the other half as a beetle crawled out from under it. The owner returned my money and apologized, but he tried to blame it on the window I was sitting next to, but I would have seen the bug land in my basket and crawl under my sandwich. After this I went to the restroom. A young man I believe was an employee (I could be wrong) had just exited. Immediately, I was greeted with an overwhelming smell even though at first sight the restroom was very clean. I know it's a bathroom, but this smell was pungent. There was a little wall in the bathroom, and I peeked around it to see a urinal nearly overflowing with stagnant urine. This place has good reviews so I may give it another try the next time I'm in town, but my first experience was far from steller.

The Old brick House deli is a true specialty sandwich deli. They have deli quality meats, cheeses, sauces and sides. As the name says, it's in an old brick house easily located just minutes off of Missouri Blvd. The deli is a welcomed choice if you're looking for non-chain, family owned place to get some great food. I was accustomed to great deli's in another city where the Jewish patrons settled for nothing less than excellent...the brick house has an authentic deli menu that's hard to find!

Melt in your mouth Pastrami Rueben and crisp refreshing house salad. Quick Service with a smile. Must try.

This locally owned restaurant is right next to my work at JCMG and I've been there often. The staff are friendly. They care about you because as a small business they know their job depends on you. The food is excellent and you can get a small salad as a side with your sandwich instead of more fattening options if you're trying to keep lunch a little light (or you can just get a salad which is by the way, great). The meat they use is high quality and sandwiches are great. It is in an old house so it has a unique atmosphere that I like although seating is a bit tight.

Love this deli! Fresh and yummy! I was pregnant at the time and they were super understanding I’m heating up the lunch meat for me!

Old Brick House has a simple sandwich/salad/soup menu. The food is consistently good. It's not a fancy place at all, but it's local and good quality.

They have a signature ham and bean soup that is amazing,it comes with a piece of cornbread 🥣

Ordered the half and half combo. Food came out quick. Service was fine. But for the price (~$8) the sandwich was quite small and only had two very thin pieces of salami.

I wish the sandwiches were bigger, but the quality is unmatched. The staff was really kind, and the history behind the building is beautiful. I will eat there anytime I want a good sandwich. They use Boars Head, which is the Rolls Royce of deli meat in my opinion.

Great Sandwich place! The food is fresh and tastes wonderful! The salad has a unique dressing that I love. Friendly and warm staff. They have soups and chili and great chili dogs! Parking can be difficult though so get in early. You can take your food to go or sit down. Not a drive thru but wish it was, would have better ability to eat here more often. 😍❤
